How does the businesscards.io vCard work?

A vCard, also known as VCF (Virtual Contact File), is a file format standard for electronic business cards. All the information you enter when creating your businesscards will get stored in a vCard. vCards are the standard format for sharing contact information and it is supported by most if not all contact/ address book applications.

When saving your contact information from your business card to their phone

When someone clicks on the add to contacts from your profile on their phone they will load your vCard into their address book.

When someone sends you their contact information from your business card

You will receive an email with the contact information as a vcard and you can also download the vcard from your contact page under the dashboard.
